During the past couple years the members of the acoustics group have been concerned in sound source(s) localization and sound field reconstruction techniques, focusing mainly on Near-field Acoustical Holography (NAH). These topics include the design of the microphone array of arbitrary geometry, development and implementation of the algorithms, processing of the measured data, regularization techniques and evaluation the capabilities of such arrays.
At present, the main research is focused on the spherical microphone arrays and their utilization in NAH.
